A New Year

Welcome back to another exciting year at Roan School! It's great to be a Bobcat and we're excited to welcome quite a few more Bobcats to our school this year! We have close to 100 new students from Blue Ridge and Park Creek coming to join us this year...we hope you guys feel welcome and love Roan School like we do!

There are lots of new things going on this year like our newest technology for our morning show (be sure to tune in to channel 17 on Friday mornings), our exciting science lab addition, several new teachers and students, and our new technology in 5th grade!

We hope you are getting ready and excited about another great year of learning lots of things and having fun! See you in the media center!

Welcome back Roan School Bobcats to another exciting and fun-filled school year!  We have so many things to look forward to each year at our school.  This year we even have a new principal, Mrs. Parrott and a new assistant principal, Mrs. Tripp and I am so excited to be your new librarian!  One of my goals for the students at Roan School is to help every student to enjoy reading as much as I do.  I also want to help everyone, students and teachers, learn how to effectively use the internet and discover all that it has to offer.  So, keep checking this website for new "news".  I hope you enjoy your new school year and I look forward to seeing you in the library!
